White tea is the simplest form of tea, where fine leaves are plucked and gently dried. Once picked, the leaves are dried in small casks or bamboo trays in open air. Generally, there is no oxidation or rolling involved, The very gentle process produces a delicate aroma and taste profile.
Preparation
1.Awaken: In a 350ml teapot, add one tea cake and rinse with boiling water (100°C). Quickly discard the water.
2.First Steep: Pour hot water (85-95°C) over leaves. Steep for 1-2 minutes and serve.
3.More Steeps: Increase steep time by 30s-1min for each infusion.
4.Savor: Enjoy each sip, noting flavors and aromas.
5.Final Steep: When flavor weakens, use boiling water and steep longer for the last infusion.
