Puer Ripe Tea, from Yunnan Province in China, is accelerated in fermentation through a “wet piling” process.
It has a rich, robust flavor with earthy and woody notes, and a smooth texture with a sweet aftertaste.
Preparation
1.Awaken: In a 350ml teapot, add one tea cake and rinse with boiling water (100°C). Quickly discard the water.
2.First Steep: Pour hot water (100°C) over leaves. Steep for 3 minutes and serve.
3.More Steeps: Increase steep time by 30s-1min for each infusion.
4.Savor: Enjoy each sip, noting flavors and aromas.
5.Final Steep: When flavor weakens, use boiling water and steep longer for the last infusion.
